His breakthrough came with an early draft of “Because You Move Me,” sent to friends Tinlicker, later released by Armada and surpassing 500 million streams. The track went platinum in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and gold in France and the Netherlands, propelling Helsloot into the spotlight. Since then, he has crafted a signature sound embraced by labels such as Get Physical, Domino Records, This Never Happened, Ritter Butzke, and Anjunadeep. With standout releases like “Open The Gate” and “Let’s Pretend”—also the name of his Amsterdam club night—Helsloot now tours globally, performing across Europe and South America.
