Young Gun Silver Fox is the transatlantic musical duo of Andy Platts and Shawn Lee, whose undeniable chemistry has carved a unique lane in modern soul pop. Fusing '70s West Coast grooves with sophisticated pop songwriting, their sound echoes Steely Dan, Hall and Oates, and Ned Doheny - effortless, intricate, and irresistibly catchy. Formed in 2015, the pair's debut album West End Coast arrived just as a new generation rediscovered the lush "yacht rock" aesthetic. What began as a passion project quickly found a devoted global audience, especially in Europe, where their blend of soul and melodic precision took off. With each album -AM Waves (2018), Canyons (2020), and Ticket to Shangri-La (2022)-YGSF has refined their signature sound while pushing its boundaries. Their latest project, Pleasure (2025), marks a return to in-person collaboration, capturing a fresh creative spark born from writing and recording together in the same studio for the first time. The result is their most dynamic and immediate record to date.
