BIOGRAPHY
Claire Taibi is a self-taught artist based in Costa da Caparica, Portugal. Her practice unfolds primarily through painting and photography, where color, texture, and form converge into compositions that are both instinctive and symbolic. Rooted in the immensity of the ocean and the shifting forces of nature, her work inhabits a space between fragility and resilience, intimacy and universality.
With a visual language that recalls the lyricism of modernism while remaining resolutely contemporary, Taibi’s art distills human emotion to its essence. Each canvas becomes a passage — a threshold between the visible and the invisible, the earthly and the transcendental. Guided by a naïve yet deliberate gesture, she constructs a world where memory, dreams, and presence coexist, offering viewers not representations, but experiences of the human condition.
