Shades Indoors is back and better than ever. This time in a brewhouse! Hosted at Santa Monica Brew Works, surrounded by brewing tanks leading to an outdoor beer garden, we’ve got five DJs lined up and plenty of cold beers to keep things flowing. Thanks to our awesome sponsor, Polette, we’ll be running a raffle throughout the event to give away free shades, and a portion of proceeds will be donated to Heal the Bay to support local coastal cleanup efforts. This isn’t just another party. We’re a community built around authenticity, so show up as you are, grab your crew, throw on your favorite shades, and we’ll see you on the dance floor. 21+ Early Bird tickets available now, but they are selling out fast!

Shades Indoors is a pop-up house music event series based in Los Angeles, built to bring people together through music, movement, and community. Born on the Westside, we aim to create a space where people feel free to be themselves without pressure, judgment, or expectations.
At every event, everyone wears sunglasses. It’s not just for the look. Shades create a shared sense of freedom, lower social pressure, and help people feel more connected and less self-conscious. The result is a dance floor full of real energy and real expression.
Our crowd is made up of 21 to 35-year-old creatives, professionals, and music lovers who value culture, connection, and good vibes. We host in unique venues from breweries to pizza parlors, spotlight local talent, and donate part of our proceeds to community causes we care about.
Shades Indoors is all about self-expression, inclusion, and showing up exactly as you are.
