Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event held every Thursday in Amsterdam.
Local and international artists are invited to showcase their work and share their personal interpretations of Techno every week.
TONIGHT! Saturday, January 17th, 2026, John Doe hosts a special techno night from 23:00 to 07:00, headlined by Dutch techno pioneer Ritzi Lee, alongside Marco Ramos.
Ritzi Lee is a key figure in underground techno, active since the late 1990s. Rising from Amsterdam’s club scene, he gained early recognition after winning a Basic Groove DJ contest and went on to play major events like Dance Valley, Awakenings, and ADE. Known for his flawless technique and straight, unpolished techno sound, he founded the influential Underground Liberation label and became a respected international name.
Staying true to pure, raw techno, Ritzi Lee continues to inspire the scene with timeless releases played by artists such as Ben Sims, Dave Clarke, Marcel Dettmann, and Ben Klock. Focused on the power of the dancefloor moment rather than hype or trends, he remains a driving force in modern techno, with new releases forthcoming on labels like Klockworks, MORD, and BEK Audio.
