This session features the visually stunning Soviet–Cuban production Soy Cuba (1964) — a poetic and dreamlike journey through pre-revolutionary Havana and the Cuban countryside. Renowned for its breathtaking long takes and bold cinematography, the film captures the stark contrasts of glamour and poverty, joy and struggle, in the years leading up to the Cuban Revolution.
