Friday, June 21, 2024 Doors 10PM Advance Tickets on sale now. For almost a decade, Vincent Lemieux has played an integral role in Montreal’s internationally acclaimed dance-music community. Lemieux is a man who wears many different hats: curator, label owner, DJ, producer, taste-maker… This is a man who has done it all and inflected every project in his association with an indelible personal style. Internationally, Vince is probably best known as one of the curators behind Montreal’s MUTEK Festival. Since 2000, he has helped shape his hometown's conception of progressive electronic music through the acts he brings to town. When not programming the festival, Lemieux hosts two of the most cutting-edge techno weeklies in the city. His long-running Tuesday night at Salon Daom, where he DJ’s alongside world-class talent, has become a staple in Montreal’s nightlife. Claude Von Stroke, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Zip, Sammy D, they’ve all graced the decks at Daom courtesy of Vince. Born and raised in Germany‘s small town Gera, Dana Ruh soon found her way to the capital city Berlin and since then has been on a constantly evolving musical journey. In the early years her sound was rooted in techno and landed most often on the label she set up with friend Ann in 2007 (though Anthea also joined the ranks in 2012). Named Brouqade, this label has become a go-to outlet for contemporary club sounds and has helped establish Dana as one of underground dance music’s leading ladies. Producing a deeper, more smoky house and techno sound, Dana has released on seminal label Ostgut Ton alongside André Galuzzi and has also become one of the family members at Jus Ed’s lauded New Jersey label Underground Quality. It is with that label that she released her stunning debut album, Naturally, and picked up props for it across the board. More new EPs are to follow in 2015, as are plenty more muscle delights that all showcase Dana’s moody, hypnotic sound in all its glory. When she isn’t busy in the studio crafting textured tracks that work perfectly in back room basements and dirty warehouses, Dana is a fine DJ who holds down resident duties at top Berlin space Club Der Visionare. It is there that she lays down seductive tracks from the worlds of house and techno as well as gems in between, but so too does she do the same when on tour round the world, hitting up clubs and festivals everywhere from the UK to the USA, Romanian to Russia. As such, despite working in such an over-saturated and competitive field, Dana Ruh manages to speak louder and more coherently than most, and for that reason she deserves all the attention she gets. Very few artists embody the work ethic and raw talent like Berlin and Chicago-based KC Wray. With over 12 years in the industry KC Wray is a true student of the game who strives for perfection in everything he does. With so many years and experience under his belt KC Wray has developed a very eclectic and groovy style that spans multiple genres and Era’s. His experience and tenacity is clearly reflected in his seamless mixing and his crisp production. Having gained a solid reputation in the Berlin scene as a DJ who always delivers, KC Wray quickly saw himself touring across Europe, Asia and South America. Having played legendary venues such as Wilde Renate in Berlin, Monovox in Ecuador, Monarch in San Francisco and Spybar in Chicago KC Wray has continued to turn heads around the globe. // Club Level // Vincent Lemieux (Musique Risquée | Montréal) soundcloud.com/vincent-lemieux-85964219 Dana Ruh (Brouqade, Cave Records | Berlin) soundcloud.com/danaruh Said Medina soundcloud.com/saidm // Green Room [open-to-close] // KC Wray (Shake Shop Records, Kultur, Brobot | Berlin + Chicago) soundcloud.com/kcwrayofficial1 // Flash Bar // markinthedark soundcloud.com/markinthedark Maximiliano soundcloud.com/maximilianomusic unbound soundcloud.com/unbound _________________________________ ⠶⠶⠶⠶⠶ Flash Safe Space Policy ⠶⠶⠶⠶⠶ Flash stands firmly against non-consensual behavior, discrimination, harassment or harm of any kind.
