Dark Matter Presents: Mischief Night

It’s spooky season!! At 9PM on Friday, October 28th, Dark Matter will be taking over a new DIY covenstead in the heart of Bushwick, Brooklyn to bring you your favorite Dark Matter heavy hitters with all the friends we've made along the way. We will be kicking the night off with some live experimental music from our favorite New York City legends, including Heavy Halo, Romanesque, How I Quit Ketamine, The Crack Head Barney Punk Band and Fat Trout Trailer Park. Guiding us into our morning rites will be mischievous DJs: nextdimensional Dada Cozmic ÆON @dj__aeon Moment of Terror B2B Kasse Salty Beard For all your spooky sensorial needs, Mischief Night will be featuring art installations and ghostly visuals by Sfogarsi Productions, Smile Enterprise, and Perri.drips. We’ll be raging from 9PM-6AM, so get ready for a long night of hijinks and tomfoolery with state of the art sound and lasers. Tickets in bio! nextdimensional is a DJ & producer based in Brooklyn, NY by way of Minneapolis, MN. She is the founder of the Lucid Dream party series (fka SECRET), which features women, nonbinary artists, and underrepresented talent at the forefront. Her dreamlike electronic soundscapes have been featured on international platforms like NTS, Lot Radio, Roland, and more. Dada Coz(mic)[dah-dah•kahz][mick] is a Dominican born Bronx raised conceptual performance artist, DJ, and multimedia visionary. As a DJ Dada’s selections are inspired by the resonances of the African Diaspora specialist Global Dance music. ÆON is a Brooklyn based DJ and producer. Her sound melds jagged psychedelic techno with soaring trance melodies for a raw and hard hitting energy that packs dance floors city wide. As cofounder of the Palacio party series she sources sounds from the Bushwick underground to bring forward, with a distinct focus on voices from her own trans community. Moment of Terror (Slavic Spirit, Traitor) is a Kyiv born and NY based DJ cultivating a sound composed of the darker and dirtier side of EBM and industrial. He is a resident at Gio Black Peter’s anything goes dungeon parties and organises Body to Body and 260. He is co-founder of New York based record label and events collective Regression Records, as well as the creator and manager of Produkt Podcast, which features industrial and hard techno artists from around the world. Kasse (Nick Kassebaum) is a distinct and well rounded DJ and producer from Brooklyn, New York. He is a creature of habit when it comes to energizing his crowd with engaging, dynamic techno and dance music. Kasse’s New York techno takes influence from traditional hypnotic sounds and harder, more punctualized industrial effects. Kasse is the co-founder of the popular New York based record label and events collective Regression Records, and has released guest mixes across platforms around the world and played alongside local and global heavy-hitters. Salty beard is a captain merchant marine sailor and music visual material artist playing a wide variety of bangers ranging from Techno, house, reggae, and hip hop, to rock.
