Deep Tech X First Batch Presents: Ray Mono

Ray Mono is the project of Paul Raymond, a UK DJ and producer who came up through Leeds’ underground house scene as a resident and promoter behind Mono_Cult. That background gave him years of experience playing proper rooms, warming up crowds, and understanding the longer arc of a night before his own productions started moving through the minimal, deep tech, and house circuit. His catalog includes releases across labels such as Locus, PIV Limited, META, Pleasure Zone, Do Not Sleep, Blind Vision, Hedzup, and his own mono_cult label, with a sound built around rolling drums, warm low end, and the kind of groove that stays locked without needing to overdo it. On June 13th, Deep Tech DC and First Batch bring Ray Mono to Washington DC for a late night session at a secret location in NE DC, running from eleven pm to six am. The night also features Nico Buonerba, Oddson, and Slon, keeping the lineup focused on underground house, deep tech, and minimal sounds from start to finish. This one is built for the dancers who know, with First Batch and DTDC connecting DC’s local energy with a UK artist whose music has already been moving through the right circles for years.
