He initially rose to fame in the 1990s as one-half of the Grammy Award-winning duo Deep Dish, known for their progressive house sound and remixes for artists like Madonna and Dido.
In the mid-2000s, Dubfire embarked on a solo career, embracing a darker, minimal techno style that quickly gained acclaim in underground electronic music circles. His solo debut album, “Sci+Tec”, and releases like “Roadkill” and “RibCage” became hits, solidifying his reputation for innovative sound design and hypnotic beats.
