Tiki Disco's Andy Pry returns to Earthly with a stellar lineup including Heidy P & lovetempo (aka Mattie Safer - Poolside / The Rapture). lovetempo is the brainchild of Mattie Safer, singer and bassist for Poolside and The Rapture. Since its inception, the project has fused saudade sentimentality and jazz-funk excursions with modern dancefloor sensibilities, moving with imagination, body, and soul through the triumphs and travails of the heart. Safer, a fixture of New York’s early 2000s music scene, came up alongside acts like LCD Soundsystem and Yeah Yeah Yeahs—a legacy recently chronicled in Meet Me in the Bathroom. With lovetempo, he channels a lifelong love of soul, disco, and house music into a sound that feels deeply human and effortlessly danceable.
