Giannina - Rope Performance Louise L’Amour, Nina Lynx e Pedro Cordas trabalharam em trio, pela primeira vez, em 2017 e apresentaram a performance “Quadrado”. Cinco anos mais tarde, os criadores convidam o fotógrafo Souldazz a juntar-se a eles e propõem um novo momento público, desta vez no Bus - Paragem Cultural, em Lisboa. Ascensão, Queda e Transformação entre humano e máquina, conceito por onde vagueia a performance. A imagética da Aerodança dos anos trinta, de Giannina Censi, o universo fetichista contemporâneo e futurista e as práticas circences, onde as cordas, a lira e os movimentos acrobáticos são os meios de expressão, aliados ao violino e à eletrónica, os loops e materiais sonoros transformam-sem melodias que inspiram uma voz humana. A adoração da máquina, mais especificamente do avião, na aerodança, serve de mote para a Translação Espacial que Giannina pretende trazer ao público. O tempo, o ritmo dos relógios e os loops elásticos convergem uma atmosfera de ressonância maquinal desconcertante. ___________ ArtRope_Ology Para esta exposição, o fotógrafo Souldazz uniu forças com Louise L'Amour (Rope Model) e Pedro Cordas (Rope Artist), para criar um trabalho visual que visa transmitir a intensidade e precisão do shibari através do uso da luz, simbolismo e estética intrincada. ____________ Giannina - Rope Performance After the last performance “Square”, presented in 2017, Luísa, Maria and Pedro, five years later, invite the photographer Souldazz to join and present a new public moment, this time at the Bus - Paragem Cultural, in Lisbon. Rise, Fall and Transformation between human and machine, a concept through which the performance wanders. The imagery of Aerodance from the thirties, by Giannina Censi, the contemporary and futuristic fetishist universe and the circus practices, where the ropes, the aerial hoop and the acrobatic movements are the main means of expression, connected with the loops and sonic materials allusive to the machine, which develop into melodies that recall the human voice. The adoration of the machine, more specifically of the airplane, in aerodance, serves as a motto for the spatial translation that Giannina intends to bring to the public. The time, the rhythm of the clocks and the elastic loops, that extend or shorten, converge into an atmosphere of disconcerting mechanical resonance. ___________ ArtRope_Ology For this exhibition, the Photographer Souldazz has joined forces with Louise L’Amour and Pedro Cordas, to create a body of visual work which aims at conveying the intensity and precision of shibari through the use of light, symbolism and intricate aesthetics.
