Lauren Flax is a resident of the legendary Bunker NYC. As a Detroit native, Flax was immersed in the freedom and sonic tapestry of the 90s Midwest rave era. She relocated to Brooklyn years ago, but still brings that Midwest energy and diversity to her DJ and live sets, fusing cutting acid lines with the bounce of Chicago jack and Detroit grooves.
