Calling all shakers and groovers to the dancefloor for an evening of cerebral sounds on June 26th. Our special guest Taylor Shockley is a Philadelphia-based DJ/producer/label operator from Florida with 15 years of experience performing and working behind the scenes at events along the east coast. His hypnotic style pulls inspiration from nature, futurism, technology, and the human psyche. Taylor is a resident for the collective Vyoo in Boston, as well as his own event series and label, biome. 🌱 In the past, he has played on bills with the likes of Jane Fitz, Carlos Souffront, S.O.N.S, Helena Hauff, DJ Koolt, Spekki Webu, Dan Curtin, Tin Man, Carl H, Evan Baggs, Vera, DJ Masda, Nicolas Lutz, tINI and Christian AB. We are thrilled to host him and are looking forward to hearing what’s in the bag. Opening the evening will be Cave Weapons: Artist is a word that generally extends to anyone dabbling in art or music, but true artists are too busy creating to be worried about how they’re received. Luke is a prime example. When he’s not busy providing a safe space for Denver’s underground (all genres), letting people into his home at Glob he’s locked in to one of his many guises (Sleepdial, Cave Weapons, Tabla Rasa) producing ambient and IDM in a style all his own. Truly a talent and contributor to the Denver underground, we are honored to showcase Luke’s powerful and moving sound as Cave Weapons.
