Always a slower month - where the only prior house show (.fl) was technically a reschedule for a December '21 date (covid had other ideas). January is usually hard and weird.
This year, however, the community has come out swinging against the doldrums to raise our collective spirit! The philosophy has always been to spread opportunity and experience to as many people as possible, in intentionally safe and accessible ways. Witnessing the growth and development of this mission has been inspiring. Gratitude to all the community members who bear this torch!
Old old friends, and new friends, and in between friends, and how those categories intersect between personal histories. In a way, the intersection creates a collective history. The more we connect to this collective history through gathering and sharing resources, the stronger we are against the state and the corporations.
