Indian Textile And Saree Workshop

Meet the "Saree Man" of India, Himanshu Verma, a leading art and design curator from Jaipur. Experience hands-on learning on the weaving traditions and draping styles of the Indian saree. We will also browse some Indian art (contemporary art, miniatures, prints, and Tantra paintings). The workshop attempts to make participants look at Indian textiles and Sarees in an entirely new perspective, and hopes to start a process of lifelong engagement with textiles in an intimate manner.
