As we continue the tradition of going Into the Void, I am excited to bring Kangding Ray for his first Denver appearance! I hope you will join us as we go deep into hypnotic techno as we welcome him to the Mile High City along with our local favorites! KANGDING RAY: From his early releases on the legendary German imprint RasterNoton to his more recent, club-geared output, David Letellier aka Kangding Ray traces a singular trajectory while navigating the unexplored territories between experimental music and dance music. As a former architect, Kangding Ray’s multidisciplinary approach allows him to apply his craft in diverse fields such as visual arts, film scores, audiovisual installations, and dance performances. In both his DJing and live performances, Kangding Ray preserves a genuine artistic approach, while carefully crafting a unique universe, equally focused on evoking an emotional response and a visceral impact on the listener. ANDREW BON BOSHER: his passion for music is evident in every aspect of his work and he continues to deliver captivating performances and releases that leave a lasting impact. As a DJ, Bosher brings energy and excitement to the stage, and as a producer, he creates music that connects with listeners on a deeper level but knows when to bring the intensity. His dedication to his craft is what sets him apart and has earned him a loyal fanbase and recognition from DJ's and producers around the globe. ZIL: Techno fans tout themselves as champions of the obscure, but seldom does an artist dig as deep as ZIL. For nearly a decade he has eschewed industry trends and refused to conform, exploring the outer fringes of dance music in each DJ set. A member of the collective INTIMäT, ZIL is known to seamlessly transition between selections from 130-150 BPM and back again. He plays on three or four decks with ease, borrowing bits and pieces from each track. Steeped in relics of nightlife past such as Beta Nightclub and EKŌ HOUSE and now a familiar face at above-board Denver clubs like Bar Standard and Milk Bar, his subversive style is best suited for stripped-down warehouse venues.
