Mirari Invites: Braima Galissá Trio

"Mīrārī Invites" is a captivating event series where we welcome amazing artists to take over the music and provide us the greatest experience. Line Up: Braima Galissá Trio Mīrārī opens from 12PM, and Braima Galissa Trio start their performance at 5PM. Artists Bio: Braima Galissá, born in 1964 in Guinea-Bissau into a family of Mandinga griots, began his journey with the Kora, a 22-string instrument, under his father's guidance in the mid-1970s. Today, he is celebrated as one of the finest musicians in Mandinga culture, renowned for his exceptional Kora-playing skills. Galissá served as the director and composer of the National Ballet in Guinea-Bissau and taught Kora at the José Carlos Schwarz National School of Music for 11 years.
