miscast is a collective that brings unregistered sounds and dance-adjacent grooves through techno, electronic, ghetto tech, club, ukg, and hardgroove. miscast believes in freedom of self-expression, which shapes its own identity. Here we treat music like a ritual, where djs are the medium; not the highlight. There’s no set genre, just groove-adjacent bangers. For our nowhere to wear party, we want to have people come as they are/who they would like to be. With our freedom of expression identity we want to encourage other to express themselves along with us. Come as you are, not as you should be! Wear deadass whatever you want with no worries about the vibes or occasion. miscast wants you to join us in expressing yourself however you want. Super fancy gown? Cosplay? Full-piece Ramen fit? Medieval armor? Trash bag? Clown attire? Just wear whatever!! Put on something you don’t normally get to wear to any events. While you’re digging through your clothes, please remember that we’ll also be doing clothes donations.
