A true veteran of dance floor culture, we are incredibly excited to hear what sounds she will share with us at Compact Disco :) J.Gill is opening up the night, see ya there! “A refreshing combination of funky tunes and vocally-infused selects that bounce from house and disco to minimal tech, tech house edits, throwback grooves and beyond. Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Lyja’s deep roots in the music scene since childhood sparked a lifelong love for producing events and collecting music. After years working behind the scenes, she found her way behind the decks – and the rest, naturally, was history. She’s opened for talent like Folamour, Purple Disco Machine and Chromeo, performed at festivals including Lightning in a Bottle, Northern Nights and Dirtybird Campout, and played at iconic nightlife staples A Club Called Rhonda and Resolute.”
