Join the SOULFUL SOLSTICE 🌞⛰️🌊 ჻჻჻ We’re delighted to bring you EKOA a project by Ivan Vendemiatti Blending the Ancient with the Present, nature sounds and synths, ethnic and contemporary vocals, melodies & grooves, EKOA embraces the so-called World Music with Electronic Music in an ever evolving Hybrid Set, improvising live with original compositions, as well from different producers. Originally from Brazil, bringing music that dialogues with Folk culture from different countries and continents, from Northeast of Brazil to North of India - EKOA plays different instruments along the set, giving a special flavour to various tracks. With the sun setting, painting the sky in a stunning display of orange and pink hues, you feel the bass of the music vibrating through your entire body, and you can't help but move to the beat. The energy is electric, and you feel a sense of pure joy and liberation, the cool sea breeze on your skin refreshing you and invigorating your senses. The view of green mountains and the ocean in the horizon is breathtaking, and you can't help but feel a sense of awe and wonder. You close your eyes and let yourself go, completely surrendering to the music and the moment. You feel a sense of connection with everyone around you, we're all part of something bigger than ourselves. As always you can count on a fully nourishing experience: our “1 day retreat” format is weaved to be the big wave that contains inside it the Ecstatic Dance wave. We encourage you to come early to join the opening circle and 2 inspiring workshops before the dance. Soulful concert by Lilli Doblin (& dinner by the fire) GUIDELINES: If it's your first ecstatic dance, fear not! We're here for you :) ecstatic dance is an international movement where we dance in a certain frequency. It's a group journey that we embark on together, and being in that group frequency is what the experience is all about. To arrive at that, there are a few guidelines we hold dear: - Ecstatic dance is a conscious movement practice for all, we come as we are to share a journey together as a tribe, as one family. - The djset follows the shape of a wave, inviting you to explore being still, flowing, chaos, storytelling with the body, expressing, releasing, tapping into emotions and states of being, eventually returning to stillness. "Movement is a conversation with your own body that no one else needs to understand." - You are invited and encouraged to listen to your body and always respond with choices that make your experience safe, personal and authentic for you throughout the whole day. - We dance barefoot to allow and feel the direct connection of our feet with the grass and the earth. - During the dance itself we do not speak. Communication is still encouraged, a facial expression can mean a thousand words, a hug can mean a million, the invitation is to drop into a state of deeper connection with the body and the senses rather than the mind. - Respect each other’s practice and space, always engage from a place of presence, notice the subtleties. - We collectively hold the space together and each dance has many seasoned dancers who are available at different times should you have questions.
