This particular collaboration has been a long time coming, and we are pleased to announce that we are teaming up with our friends over at Dreamweavers’ Disco to curate an extremely special experience, similar in the intention and scale of production that you’ve come to expect at any other "Sol Dance Presents" - with of course, the utmost love. About the Group Meditation featured at SPECTRUM: Meditation on Twin Hearts is a service based guided group meditation for planetary peace. The meditation activates the twin hearts, the physical heart in the chest, and the spiritual heart on the crown. We then collectively bless the planet and in turn, receive those blessings since we're living here! Most people leave the meditation feeling calm, aligned, centered, inspired and at peace. Meditating in a group makes the experience even more powerful as the more people practicing ogether, the more expansive the energy. Starting this event with the meditation helps create a beautiful container for healing, connection and self exploration + expression. About the Dream Blessings & Activations via Dreamweavers’ Disco: At this event there will be an altar space for everyone to spend time with as they choose. It is a place for stillness, exploration, play, and dreaming. There are crystals, meditation cards, oracle decks, lights and more, to pick up, touch, utilize in whatever way calls to you. "Our favorite piece on the altar is the dream box. This is present at every Dreamweavers’ Disco to collect each and every one of your dreams. At the altar you have the opportunity to write down your dreams, place them in the altar box, and allow us to carry them to the next city to be blessed by the next group of Dreamweavers. At the start of our Dreamweavers’ Disco, we will take a moment during the meditation to bless the dreams of those that dreamed and danced with us at the previous event in. Then, your dreams will be blessed at the next event." With this practice, together, we are weaving a collective web of dreams and blessings. We are all connected, we are all one. When one of our dreams becomes a reality, all of our dreams come true. About the Heart Song Healing Sound Bath: A heart song is exactly as it sounds, the song of our heart. With this being a community gathering, this will be the collective heart song of the group. You will be bathed in vocal tones and harmonies, as you relax into a safe space of receptivity and openness. This heart song is programmed to cleanse and remove any and all obstacles standing between us and our dreams. We will take a moment to bless our dreams, the dreams of others in the circle, bless the planet, and all living beings. Hailing from Atlanta, GA and Denver, CO, this duo has traveled the country and the world sharing their art, heart, meditations and music for over 10 years. Comprised of Singer/Songwriter Rachel Blum and Producer/Laserist Anthony Blum, the foundation of SurprisinglySimple is in the love the two have for eachother. Their foundation of love provides a fertile bed for creation and exploration of human consciousness. Their desire is to live a life that is a living, breathing example of love in action. You can feel it in everything they do. Life is SurprisinglySimple when you follow your heart. "Rachel Blum is an artist, healer, solution finder & energy optimizer. As a musician, Rachel uses her voice and resonance to increase vibrations of ease, in turn, healing dis-ease. She guides others to the healer within by connecting them with their own inner resonance. She is passionate about healing our world through creative expression, authentic connection, and empowerment through alignment. She is an Advanced Pranic Healer through The Institute for Inner Studies and has been practicing Twin Hearts Meditation & Pranic Healing for over 9 years. She is an Arhatic Yogi and has been practicing for over 7 years. She received her teaching certificate in neuroscience-based mindfulness in 2020 through Mastermind based in Dallas, TX. She is a co-founder of an Atlanta based children’s creativity & mindfulness summer camp which she has co-owned and operated for 25 years. She finds joy in bringing childlike wonder and play into our everyday world. "Anthony Blum is a learner & grower with an engineering degree. He has a passion for figuring out how things work, especially in the fields of science, art and spirituality. He began his career working for Eaton designing optics for commercial light fixtures. In that process he learned about lighting and interior design while also building and investing in his passion projects. SurprisinglySimple is a culmination of all of his passions, lighting, music + community joined into one. About Sol Dance & it's Co-Founders — Scott Houston & Maya Lemberg: Sol Dance is an Atlanta-based intentional experience collective, cultivating embodied presence through dance, music, ritual & sound. “In nearly 15 years of utilizing dance as a healing modality, Scott Houston has come to believe in the inherent wisdom of the body and the power of sound to move it. Scott produces & facilitates events that are truly an open path to healing through a communion with the embodied self. Scott boasts a uniquely diverse range of sonic capacity that spans across all musical genres, masterfully being able to weave any dance-floor from stillness to climax & all the way back down into the deepest states of bliss + contemplation. With 20 years of experience in the healing arts, Maya's trauma-informed facilitation weaves mind, heart, body and spirit in her approach to well-being. Maya is a licensed professional counselor, a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and is trained as a yoga teacher and a priestess. She is the co-founder of Sol Dance and offers her gifts to the community by leading the opening and closing circle, MCing the events and setting the tone for what to expect, thus contributing to a grounded, conscientious container. She specializes in somatic psychotherapy, dance-movement practices, expressive-arts therapy, yoga and mindfulness, energy medicine, shamanism and Earth-based spirituality.
