We’re beyond excited to welcome Satoshi Tomiie back to San Francisco. From his early days helping shape the sound of house music alongside Frankie Knuckles to a decades-long career spent pushing dance music forward, Satoshi remains one of the most respected and influential figures to ever step behind a pair of decks. This is a booking we’ve been dreaming about for a long time. An artist whose commitment to exploration, evolution, and deep dancefloor storytelling continues to inspire us, touching down in the Monarch basement for a rare and intimate session. Holding down warm up duties is our resident Philco, setting the tone before the journey unfolds. We’re also excited to finally collaborate with the Groovewell crew. Ledet and J Key will be representing in the back room, bringing the spirit of a community they’ve spent years carefully cultivating. Beyond the dancefloor, Groovewell has become known for Vacation, their Northern California gathering centered around music, wellness, art, and connection. We’ve shared many beautiful moments with this crew over the years, making this collaboration feel long overdue.
