A 29-year-old Western vocalist with a background in musical theatre and Western classical music, Sanaea’s journey, from the A.R. Rahman - KM College of Music & Technology to Leeds Conservatoire, has taken her across stages in India, the UK, and Portugal. Secondly, DJ Sarmento will guide the night’s energy with his signature set, blending traditional sounds with modern beats. Known for his ability to connect diverse cultures and rhythms, his global influences will carry the night into a celebratory mood, setting the stage for the main event. Third, the heart of the night belongs to Milhanas, a rising star in Portuguese music. Born in 2001, Milhanas has been immersed in music since childhood, drawing inspiration from her father’s work with Fausto. Her debut album De Sombra a Sombra, released in May 2023, captures her journey through personal shadows and reflections. In Eu de Prosa, the standout single, she explores Fado as salvation, weaving influences from Amália Rodrigues and Portuguese literature into her music. This album is not an ode to sadness, but rather an honest self-portrait of Milhanas’ emotional journey. As Milhanas takes the stage, you'll not only be treated to her soulful and poetic performance, but also to an exceptional culinary experience.
