Versus: Sainté - April 17th - B.Leza, Lisbon. It was in 2019 with the single “Envy Me” that Sainté formally introduced himself to the world. The Leicester Man himself wasted no time and two years (and a few more singles) later, he made a point of establishing himself as “Local Mvp”. This is the name of his first EP and also a key moment in his career. Composed of 4 songs, it was with “Champagne Shots” that everything changed. From local to viral. Sainté likes to travel through mellow and current sounds, but at the same time, it is inevitable that we are taken back to environments characteristic of English R&B, from the early 2000s. The aesthetics of his music are undeniably tailor-made. The collaboration with Virgil Abloh and LV, where he was responsible for the audio design of one of the brand's collections, is a reflection of this. Currently with 3 solo albums and several EPs released, Sainté is one of the main figures in RAP in the UK. His presence on “A COLORS SHOW” is the perfect example (Compare).
