Worn Pop presents VoX LoW live show in Berlin on Oct. 17th at Kantine Am Berghain. Link in bio. Vox Low on stage – is an acid-house version of Jesus & Mary Chain. At the base of Vox Low are Benoit Raymond and Jean-Christophe Couderc, both former members of the band Think Twice (produced by Laurent Garnier in the 2000’s), joined by Mathieu Autin and Jérôme Pichon. The four man combo music, signed on the French record label Born Bad Records, variates between Post-punk, Cold wave and Techno, nears Krautrock (Can…) and generously reaches in the bins of the unfortunate ones, who still hesitate between dancing or hanging themselves (Joy Division, Velvet Underground, Gary Numan…).
Similar to the dampness that beads from the wall of a half-opened fridge, like the light banging on a retina plunged in the dark, Vox Low’s music catches the dancefloor where it least expects it Special guest: Wedding (Copenhagen, DK) Copenhagen based Wedding was born under alliance of producer Kristian Alexander and Shiny Darkly’s frontman Kristoffer Bech. Their eclectic influences span across a variety of genres and styles. Through live shows, intense studio production and curiosity for abstract sounds and the 90’s club scene, Wedding is a project that keeps developing. Live they are accompanied by powerhouse Hasse Bruun (Mana Pool) on drums. Their debut release will soon see the light of day. DJ opening: Mike Sacchetti
