Yalla She Said Presents: "Anika" Ep Release Show

We are incredibly happy to host the EP release show of our favourite photographer & singer ANIKA - “Self portrait N. 1” Sometimes powerful, sometimes clear and sometimes smoky ANIKA sings about letting go, overload, exhaustion and the illusions that surround the people who are close to us. Written on the piano and produced by Novaa, Five Very personal and intimate songs and also the musical debut with spherical-dreamy indie-pop sounds, named “Self portrait N. 1” was created, in reference to her photographic connection to music. -- -- -- ANIKA is a Berlin-based singer-songwriter and also photographer known as Zachow-pictures. It happens that more and more musicians found themselves in front of her lens, but she had not dared to follow the music herself for a long time even though she remember singing her whole life more or less secretly. Only through her photography and the associated contact with music and the support of more and more musician friends encouraged her to take this step. The result is her debut EP “Self portrait No. 1". Berlin-based newcomer ANDREAS VEY combines artful pop with a radical openness to create great pop songs that are reminiscent of Queen, Jeff Buckley or Borns, but somehow still bear their very own signature.
