Classixx, the Los Angeles-based DJ and production duo of Tyler Blake and Michael David, have carved a unique niche in electronic music with their seamless blend of indie-dance, disco, and house music. Childhood friends who began recording in 2007, they drew on a shared love for punk rock, French house, and vintage pop, creating a sound that is both nostalgic and forward-thinking. Their 2013 debut album Hanging Gardens earned critical acclaim for its smooth melodies and distinctive songwriting, while their 2016 follow-up, Faraway Reach, marked a more mature, refined evolution of their sound, maintaining the vibrant energy that set them apart. In 2024, Classixx continued to solidify their place as one of the most respected duos in the electronic scene with the release of two new dance-floor oriented singles, “Higher” and “Get Myself Together."
