Originally known for its popular Soundcloud blog (Gouranga Music), Discolypso has flourished over the years into the respected music entity that it is now.
Our signature events have brought people of all ages and from all over the world together on the dance floor, from New York to Okeechobee, London to Glastonbury, Mexico and beyond. We invite all to enter the Discolypso - our dance extravaganza. With DJs playing classic disco tunes, live electronic acts, Indian orchestra, live bands and drums, our events are always an exciting surprise.
Our releases typically focus on the Indie Dance music genre, as we explore all realms of the 'Disco' movement, which includes classic edits, dubbed out cosmic disco tunes, the more sinister 'Dark Disko' with its synth heavy Italo feel, and the psychedelic journey into the Nu Disco.
Some of our regular collaborators are Dombrance, François K, Rigopolar, Rebolledo, Ray Mang, Beyond the Struttosphere and more... The Discolypso Crew.
