Saturday, September 5th, Arpten and The Usual Suspects NYC team up to bring another A10N Techno to Fabrica DC for a 9-hour warehouse session pushing raw late-night energy, The floor is commanded by Techno legend JOEY BELTRAM widely acknowledged as a foundational architect and pioneer of techno and house music since the early 1990s.alongside NYC’s 610 Frequency, Destro 187 with DC’s favorites Frank Anderson, and Xav. Hailed as a pioneer and legendary producer in the genres Techno and House for over three decades, Joey Beltram has recorded music for some of the biggest labels in dance music beginning in the early 1990’s, including Nu-Groove, Tresor, Warp, Transmat and R&S Records. Much of Beltram’s music released during the initial phase of his storied career is widely acknowledged as groundbreaking. Joey Beltram has also been heralded as a major influence by many of today’s biggest DJ's and producers including Daft Punk (as mentioned in their song "Teachers"). His releases though the 1990’s include essential Techno touchstones such as “Energy Flash”, “Mentasm”, “Forklift”, “Ballpark” and Game Form”. In more recent years, Beltram has worked with and remixed artists such as Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Umek, Oliver Huntemann and Steve Lawler. His productions on Harthouse, BUSH, MB Electronic and Drumcode have showcased his unwavering magic touch in the studio. Joey has also headlined some of the biggest Festivals and events worldwide including Nature One, Bonusz Festival, Awakenings, Rock-It Open Air, Coachella, BLOC, A Day at the Park, Full House Festival and Tomorrowland, to name a few.
