Amsterdam Techno Sessions - Pride: With Dimi Angélis (Angls)

This Saturday, 03rd of August 2024, we are back to John Doe, for another special Pride event! And for this one, we invited the Amsterdam techno legend, Dimi Angélis to headline the night. Thinking of Dimi Angelis we rapidly associate his name with pounding sound, high-quality releases and an iconic trajectory. Being faithful to his sound, Dimi has evolved over the years to be one of the most renowned producers and DJs worldwide. Going back in time to the nineties, Dimi has since then been one of the key figures shaping the Techno scene we appreciate nowadays in The Netherlands. His path was marked by releasing on top-notch labels such as Axis Records, Warm Up Recordings, Mord, KEY vinyl, Tar Hallow and the co-owned label A&S with Jeroen Search. This led him to play in major techno institutions such as Berghain, Awakenings, Dekmantel and Tresor. Another fruit of Dimi’s creativity is his solo label ANGLS, which provides straightforward and ruthless techno. Dimi has been a steady guest on different continents in the past years, playing frequently in Latin America, Asia and the USA.
