After captivating audiences in Lisbon, Nairobi, Kigali, London, Cape Town, Davos, Delhi, and most recently in Berlin and NYC, the highly acclaimed "Being Other" project is now making its way to Toronto! "Being Other" is a transformative initiative dedicated to advancing intercultural and inter-religious dialogue. This project shines a spotlight on the experiences of ambitious, creative young Black, Indigenous, and Women of Color (BIWOC) within corporate and entrepreneurial environments. It delves into how these women transform their experiences of being othered into keys for unlocking compassionate and forward-thinking leadership. More than just raising awareness, "Being Other" equips BIWOC with essential skills and strategies to thrive in their careers while remaining authentic and contributing to systemic change. This global initiative has touched the lives of over 1,200 attendees through an array of engaging events, including talks, book readings, masterclasses, and podcasts. These events have been held in partnership with community-led organizations, universities, and innovative community-oriented organizations focused on women empowerment and acceleration programs.
