Join us for a night of groovy house, deep house, UKG, acid house and more! ABOUT THE ARTISTS :: Christine Cho, a Chicago-born dj with deep house music roots, draws inspiration from her early exposure to the underground Chicago house and Detroit techno scenes. Her eclectic taste has been shaped by her continuous attendance at festivals across the globe spanning from Houghton Festival in the UK, Dimensions Festival in Croatia, and Sunwaves Festival in Romania. Christine has crafted a dynamic sound that combines deep minimal grooves, electro, acid, and atmospheric house. Her notable recent sets include her performances opening for legendary Chicago-house party series The Warehouse at Spybar Chicago, Camp Alborz at Burning Man, and Members in Los Angeles, where she showcased her captivating energy and masterful control of the dancefloor. - DJ Houseplants is the alias of American-Cambodian DJ, producer, and designer Justin Av. He got his start playing drums in punk and doom metal bands before transitioning to electronic music, exploring sounds ranging from shoegaze to IDM. After a long stint producing rap during the “Soundcloud Rap” era, spinning Seattle clubs with the likes of Zaytoven, ESTA, and IAMNOBODI, he relocated to Brooklyn, NY. While he's known as a pioneer in the lofi house community, his sound mixes elements of UKG, Jungle, Breaks, and other types of bass music with a Rap/RnB sensibility. A graphic designer working in fashion, a botanist in the gardening community, a first generation immigrant from Cambodia—he lets his life experiences inform the type of music he makes, inviting you to explore music through a more introspective lens. Driven by the vibrancy of house and techno shows, he channels the spirit of the community to amplify the energy of the dance floor. -- Mole is a DJ and event organizer based in New York. He conducts auditory research under ECFM, a monthly radio residency on Montreal-based station N10AS and party series at various spots around Manhattan and Brooklyn. He's played alongside the likes of Priori, Succubass, Alien D, X3Butterfly, Don-Ri, and No Sir throughout his past 5 years as a DJ. He got his footing as an early resident of the Burlington Electronic Department, a party series based in Vermont. His sound comprises notes of tek, prog, house, breaks, minimal, and all their bass-filled subsidiaries. -- Serrian has been emeshed in NYC nightlife since she was a teen - beginning as a promoter, finding her way to DJing and now also a talent buyer and curator. She has opened up for the likes of Phil Weeks, Museum of Love (DFA), and Russell E.L. Butler. She has played at notable venues in NYC such as Good Room, Elsewhere, Bossa Nova Civic Club, TBA, H0L0 and more. Some of her favorite gigs have been queer parties outside of New York, such as here&there (ATL) and Ladies on Wax (Philly), dance to forget (San Juan), and upcoming Bless This Mess (Chicago). Serrian can be heard playing classic house, acid house, techno, electro, new wave and cosmic/nu disco. Her variety of styles can be attributed to her booking background as she has operated as a promoter for fifteen years: supporting labels, parties, and collectives that mold and innovate the fabric of NYC nightlife. Her style is eclectic, emotive, and upbeat - she crafts a story, bringing nuance and surprises to every set.
