Welcome to Darkroom, an event series dedicated to live and vinyl only techno acts. Volume 1: Aöcram (Axis / 30D / Mord) Aöcram brings something enchanting. Beyond all trends and staying true to its own nature where music matters all and everything else nothing, the hidden artist operates on the hypnotic side of techno. Its music is regularly played on dancefloors such as Berlin’s Berghain and Tresor, Tbilisi’s Bassiani or London’s Fabric. In times when music is just another product of the consumerism society, where everything is made to over consume and discard, Aöcram aims for exactly the opposite; music as an honest form of self-expression, carefully crafted and sonically advanced; timeless techno where music matters all and everything else nothing. Without any association for a certain gender, country, face image or age, the project focuses on techno with no boundaries other than a profound and diverse electro-mechanical journey between billions of synapses all connected via the eponymous Aöcram label. Beyond all trends and staying true to its own nature, Aöcram’s hypnotic sound offers atemporal experiences; from hyper-conceptualised records to mind-blowing live performances. Marivs (Resource, Blast) Perfectionist and purist, Marivs has gained esteem for his meticulous mixing and for the delicate, driving hypnosis he puts people under from behind the decks. Marivs began DJing before the days of social media and has a deep respect for authentic underground culture. His vision is to expose his audience to the true values of techno. [mode] [mode], on a profound voyage through the cosmos of modular synthesis, unearthed a sonic realm teeming with ethereal possibilities. Here, his mission transcended mere rhythms, textures and melodies; it became an unwavering commitment to manifest a transcendent rig that would not only shake dance floors with deep bass, razor-sharp drums, and entrancing melodies but also elevate spirits to new dimensions. Flashback Jack VALIS b2b Daragma For this event we are implementing a "Pay What You Feel is Fair" system. Underground promoters take on huge financial risks putting on events to promote artists who don't yet have a local reputation. If you have the financial availability, we humbly request that you purchase the highest priced ticket that you can afford, and still feel would be fair, noting that this event features 6 live or vinyl performances and we do not wish to reduce artist fees. Tickets will be $30 at the door.
