CANCELED - Diggers session with Suruu & LZZTTO

Fridays at Club Soda are well known for our Diggers Sessions, always inviting dj's from the local scene to delight us with the grooviest music. And for this Diggers session we will be welcoming Suruu and LZZTTO. Suruu is a fine selector/DJ from London, UK. With a diverse sound cacophony heavily influenced by British underground rave culture, but which also pays homage to his African heritage and eclectic love of sound and riddims from across the globe. After a 5 year spell in Hong Kong, from where he held residency at the best underground venue Oma, also resident and member of Small&tall, signed to and played on the roster of Cliche Records. Sharing line-ups with more established artists like Hot Chip, Solomun, Jamie Jones, Apparat, Nicolas Jaar, Wolf and Lamb, Jus Ed, SoulClap, Apollonia, Art Department to name a few, also playing at clubs and festivals around Asia, he’s now based in Barcelona. Found regularly spinning with friends at Atipico, amongst other venues and coming to your dancefloor very soon! A master in the art of the warm up, but also peak time setting a dance on fire!! Daniela Luzzatto aka LZZTTO has been in constant contact with music. When she was a teenager, she went through her parents' vinyl collection and later recorded mixes on cassettes for her friends. In her sessions she seeks to generate a dialogue between different genres that range from downtempo, indie dance with touches of synth wave, deep house, nu-disco and some techno. She works with evocative vocal lines, classic piano melodies, caribbean rhythms and heavier bases with retro synths and dub references. She acts continuously in different clubs in Barcelona. She programs DJs and musicians for her restaurant and for different events. She also is dj resident at Luv Bar, where she programs a night evry wednesday. She plays the piano, composes and produces pieces for audiovisual projects, remixes and her personal projects. She has played in places like City Hall, Sidecar, Fiestas D.R.O.P, Ocaña, Primavera Sound x Soho House, Misonny Art Festival at Mas Sorrer, Ameba Fest., Freedonia, Hoxton, Kimpton, Boca Grande, Luv Bar, Dr. Dou, El Rouge , among others… Let's burn the dancefloor on Friday with this 2 selectors!
