TLIM SHUG - TLIM SHUG is a Louisville-raised, Brooklyn-based producer and DJ best known trailblazing the hazy, phonk-infused era of lofi house cuts on SoundCloud during the mid-2010s. Since then he’s released multiple projects blending genres while keeping true to their respective roots. On the decks, he’s made noise in the scene playing at clubs such as Elsewhere and Good Room, where he is always carrying out his personal mission to just get you dancing. He’s shared the stage with names such as Boys Noize, Kornél Kovács, KiNK, UNIIQU3, Baltra and more. Mari[Posa] - Jersey born Mari[Posa] is a glue for hot and cold. Grounding in the repetition of bass and techno, she explores the darkness but never leaves you empty of the warmth from a soulful vocal or a groovy club beat. Her inspirations consistently changing, she flows where the wind blows, finds a dancer, and never loses their feet. dom haley - Born and raised in Louisville, KY, dom haley’s parents had him listening to all kinds of music. His mother, a minister, had him listening to gospel artists like Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, and Mary Mary while his father had him up to date with whatever relevant hip hop artists like Tupac, Outkast, and 50 Cent. Growing up, his favorite artists were Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Tyler the Creator, Frank Ocean, The Gorillas, N*E*R*D, and Childish Gambino. As Dom has gotten older and more seasoned as a DJ, he has fallen in love with electronic and dance genres i.e. House, Baltimore Club, Jungle, and more. When deejaying, his aim is to blend all those genres of music together and get people moving. In 2023, dom got a chance to play on The Lot Radio in New York City which inspired him to create his own radio show, dom.FM. It first started out in his bedroom in Louisville, until he relocated to NYC where he found a new home for dom.FM on Newtown Radio. On dom.FM he hosts his own mixes, guest mixes, interviews, and social commentary. Check dom.FM on newtownradio.com on Tuesdays (biweekly) from 10am til noon!
