ABOUT THE ARTISTS :: Fugitive Artifact is the machine-based project of Atlanta native Peter Roglin Now based in Brooklyn, this project serves as a vehicle to explore a wide spectrum of dance music, from classic Chicago jacking sound to the more undefinable rhythms that permeate the clubs around the neighborhood. His debut release on Atlanta based DKA Records DEFERENTIATOR showcased a diverse range of styles reminiscent of Suicide, Fingers Inc., and Drexciya combined with a strong appreciation of the cinematic film scores of David Lynch, Angelo Badalamenti, Nicolas Winding Refn, and Cliff Martinez. Since moving to NYC he has been hard at work on the MPC and plans to release a slew of dance tracks influenced heavily by that early Chicago sound in the first part of 2025. -- Duneska DUNESKA is a NY native DJ, Artist, Educator, and Curator with African-Dominican ancestry whose range stretches as wide as their curiosity and intention. In the day time you can catch them hosting their monthly show at Lot Radio titled What is an Ocean Between Us?. Inspired by the thinking of Claudia Jones, Suzanne Cesaire, and Edouard Glissant the series aims to celebrate the innate the condition of being Carribean, as being Carribean is to practice errantry — it is to search for one another across oceans, time, and in this case through sound. They've had the pleasure of hosting this series at both E-Flux and Montez Press as well. At night, DUNESKA explores a multitude of sounds as hard hitting as the city they're from including Dembow, Juke, Techno, and more. Their goal is simple — that you walk out the club feeling sexier than when you stepped in. -- DJ MC Producer and DJ from Chicago's Low End projects on the South side, guaranteed to wreak havoc in da circle Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, Dj.Mc is a DJ/producer who became interested in music and dancing watching the Chicago Bud Billiken parade as a child and started his own musical journey marching to Ghetto House music as part of the South Shore Drill dance team. Mentored early on by DJ Gant-Man, Dj.Mc has been creating beats since 2001 and was featured on the second volume of Planet Mu Records' influential Bangs & Works compilation series in 2011. Currently in the midst of a prolific run of releases, this year he's notably put out his debut on revered UK label Hyperdub Records with the Relentless EP and quickly followed that up with his debut on London-based label Moveltraxx with the Ratchett EP, both releases bringing his bass-heavy footwork beats to a wider audience. ̸
