iMPROMPTU is a monthly music and cocktail focused night in an intimate setting of the recently re-imagined Kitsch Bar in Costa Mesa. His earliest releases, under the alias GalaxyTalk, were distributed through a network of tastemakers that recognizes Matt Hill’s instinct for atmospheric storytelling and hypnotic rhythm. Since those formative years, his sound has evolved — matured into something more personal, more nuanced. Today, Hill’s sets bridge the space between house and techno, often leaning into minimalism, cosmic textures, and introspective grooves. His performances are not simply dance floor offerings; they are immersive, meticulously curated journeys that reflect a philosophy he encapsulates through the acronym M.U.S.I.C. — Momentum Unifying Inward Spiritual Consciousness. In recent years, Matt Hill toured Europe including a slot at Let It Snow (Slovakia), directly supporting established tech and house producers such as Jimpster.
