Descrição
This is a special edition of INDUSTRY STANDARD, presented by Shotgun and Café Grooves for Miami Art Week. One afternoon at Sable, two panels, and ten operators who built something real. Art Week packs more parties into Miami than any other week of the year outside of Miami Music Week, and almost everyone throwing one figured it out by doing it the hard way first. Everyone on this stage started without a map. Everyone in the seats is still drawing one. At 4:15 PM, the first panel digs into “What It Takes to Build an Event”: budgets, venues, partners, and what goes sideways at 4 PM. At 5:45 PM, the second asks “Where Entertainment Is Headed”: what’s changing, what’s next, and what to get good at now. Between them, a break for the introductions that actually matter. After, an open floor where both panels come back up to take questions from the room. On stage: Adam Lynn (Co-Founder and CEO of Breakaway), Sivan Pitchon (Talent Buyer and Event Director at All In MGMT), Yair Hilu (Co-Founder of Third Eye Hospitality and Phase 3), Stephanie Kisciras (Talent Buyer/Head of AR at Pacha), Jack Oster (Owner and Founder of Product Pluto, Artist Manager, AYITA), Hugo Milochevitch (Head of Music at Riviera Dining Group), Abigail Lagunov (Founder of House Calls), Erez Davids (Founder of RAW CUTS), Ashley Fitelson (Artist Manager at AYITA), Olena Ferrer (Artist Manager, Dennis Ferrer), and moderation by Kenzii Scott (Dance Music Commentator & Curator). We’ll ask each of them what made them start, who inspired them early, what keeps them in it, what nearly ended it, and where all of this is going. Nothing is recorded. No cameras, no clips, phones away during the panels, so people say what they actually think. Doors at 3:30 PM. Nightlife runs on informal knowledge. Who’s throwing the best parties, which promoters are reliable, what pricing models actually work, how to survive a slow month. That intel gets passed around in green rooms, after-parties, and DMs. There’s no centralized space where the people who actually build nightlife culture can sit down together and level up the conversation. The “standard” for how this industry operates has been defined by platforms that treat nightlife as a transaction or by legacy gatekeepers who hoard information. INDUSTRY STANDARD was born to change that.
