I have raved & played in some incredible places, been inspired by mind-blowing genres and met like-minded DJs who are experts in the sounds they pioneer. I want to bring all that energy to South East London, Peckham.” Dance Around The World is an experiential clubbing journey celebrating global rhythms from Africa, Latin America, & The Caribbean. Each event will zone in on a region and specific genres that have lit up international dancefloors. A firm favourite on the London live scene. Recently, the band have been playing with Colombian Salsa legend Fruko and have just returned from playing in Brazil. Let’s welcome them home! London-based DJ, radio broadcaster on Rinse FM and label owner Tim Garcia has a deep love of percussive and rhythmical music. With an incredible record collection this set will see Tim digging into his love of Afro-Brazilian sounds. Colombian selectors Suma Phayiri & Amancai are regulars on the London Latin scene. Their record collection and the way they select music embodies true Pico energy. From the Caribbean Coast of Colombia to South East London expect to experience an authentic journey Chilean, DJ trombonist and curator Auka plays an eclectic mix of Latin Club sounds. Firmly rooted in the scenes across London from club nights focused on rave & resistance to live jams infused by the sounds of Latin America. She is working on a very special set that incorporates both DJ’ing and her Trombone.
