Accompanying Small ( Saxophone), is Lucas Apostoleris (Drums), Cisco Dimas (Trumpet), and Jim Gasior (Keys). Mark Small 🎷 Mark Small is a musician who is deeply involved in every aspect of todays diverse musical landscape.  As a musician, he is an award winning multi-instrumentalist who has been nominated and won Grammy’s with a variety of music including Warner Bros. artist Michael Buble to Darcy James Argue's cutting edge “Secret Society”.  He has performed on Broadway, Film, Television, and around the world in such far flung locations as the Sydney Opera House and the site of “The Thrilla in Manila” to Madison Square Garden.  He has recorded as a sideman for numerous projects both in NYC and Miami as well as having his own projects. Jim Gasior 🎹 Jim Gasior is a pianist, jazz educator, and arranger based in South Florida. He has performed and/or recorded with international pop artists and groups – Ricky Martin, Kelly Clarkson, Alih Jey, Chayanne, Jose Feliciano, Little Richard, Michael Bolton, Smokey Robinson, as well as jazz artists - Benny Golson, Slide Hampton, Freddie Hubbard, Terell Stafford, Patti Austin, John Fedchock, Duffy Jackson, Jason Marsalis, Donald Harrison, Robin Eubanks, Jeremy Pelt, Jay Leonhart and the Jaco Pastorius Reunion Big Band. Jim performs regularly in South Florida with Wendy Pedersen, Ed Calle, The Fernando Ulibarri Quartet, Russ Spiegel, and others. Jim is the Associate Professor of Jazz and Instrumental Studies at the New World School of the Arts in Miami, Florida where he serves as the director of the national award-winning NWSA High School Jazz Ensemble. His students regularly receive top honors and recognition such as Downbeat Student Music Awards, GRAMMY High School Jazz Band, and admission into the nation’s top college jazz programs. Lucas. Apostoleris 🥁 Born in Connecticut and raised in Massachusetts, Lucas Apostoleris is a composer and instrumentalist residing in Miami, Florida. He has performed recently with artists such as Dave Liebman, Fabian Almazan, and Martin Bejerano, and plays regularly with a variety of ensembles in South Florida. In June 2020, Apostoleris released his debut album, Chronicle, which consists of nine original compositions and features Tom Kelley and Carlos Mata-Alvarez on saxophones, Alex Brown on piano, and Dan Montgomery on bass. His sophomore album, recorded this past summer, will be released in 2023. Apostoleris is a three-time recipient of the ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards, and has also arranged music for a variety of ensembles, including the Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra in Ft. Myers, FL, and the prestigious Airmen of Note Air Force big band. Cisco Dimas 🎺 Francisco Dimas is an Adjunct Professor of Jazz Trumpet at Florida International University. He currently hold a M.M. in Jazz Pedagogy and B.M. in Studio Music and Jazz from the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. Mr. Dimas is also on faculty at Miami Dade College and is currently a member of the South Florida Jazz Orchestra, Sammy Figueroa’s Latin Jazz Explosion, the 14 Jazz Orchestra, Kravis Pops, South Florida Symphony, and tours around the world with KC and the Sunshine Band. In addition to his very active freelance career, Francisco’s musical versatility lends itself to the recording studio, making him one of the most in-demand session players in South Florida. In addition to recording for many local bands and projects, Cisco has recorded with such artists as Natalie Cole, Gloria Estefan, Juanes, Charles Calello, Deanna Martin, Joseph Leo Bwarie and Ed Calle. Since moving to Miami in 2004 from his native town of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cisco has managed to not only perform with many different bands of all styles of music from jazz to latin to hip- hop, but has toured with many world famous artists, from Linda Ronstadts’ entire 2005-2007 Hummin’ to Myself tour, to numerous performances across the globe with artists such as Basement Jaxx, Jon Secada, Gloria Estefan and the Miami Sound Machine, Gino Vannelli, and Sammy Figueroa’s Latin Jazz Explosion. Resident DJ Manuvers will kick things off on the back garden stage selecting from an eclectic collection of jazz and jazz-derivative tunes. Food and drinks by Jaguar Sun will be available for purchase all night long. 🍕 🍺🍷🍹 Resident DJ, Manuvers will be on the back garden stage all night long with choice selections of jazz and jazz derivative 45s.
