Trepaneringsritualen + Kollaps // Urban Spree, Berlin

aufnahme + wiedergabe presents Kollaps and Trepaneringsritualen meet in Berlin for a newly added performance at Urban Spree on 11 May 2026. Both projects will present full independent sets, followed by a dedicated collaborative work. During this final performance, a suicide suspension will be executed by BLVCK ACID KVLT. The suspended body and the mechanical apparatus will be fitted with contact microphones, capturing tension, strain, friction, resonance, and structural movement in real time and integrating these signals directly into the live sound field. Flesh, metal, hooks, cable, gravity, and support structures function as active elements within a single system. Mechanical pressure is converted into vibration, vibration into signal, and signal extended into the environment. The collaboration unfolds under continuous load, where body, apparatus, and amplification operate without separation. Kollaps and Trepaneringsritualen approach sound through sustained force, repetition, and intensity, bringing percussive structure and ritual practice into direct contact within a shared field of transmission and exposure.
