MAQUINA is back, with a new single "misfit", now online and to be released on October 31st But first..... we're throwing a 'misfit release party' @ Higher Ground on October 30th. Don't miss this one. Arrive from 10pm onwards and get ready for the launch and we will party into the early hours of Halloween to celebrate the singles launch via Fuzz Club on a limited 12” record. A raw and gritty night that will roll on until at least 4am. Come ready. “This song was created with the idea of a soundtrack for a horror movie in mind”, MAQUINA. say: “We were invited to record a track right after finishing the recording of our second album PRATA. At the time, we didn’t have any song or idea ready, but we accepted the challenge. Around that period, Boy Harsher had released ‘The Runner’ and was putting out ‘My Animal’, which was very inspiring for us to start shaping our ideas. It was also a time when we were watching a lot of horror films, and I think all of that combined helped the idea develop naturally. The song tells a story of a hunt, an evil mind; perhaps a stalker, or simply paranoia. PLAY IT LOUD!”......
