Lady Tazz’s music is an escape from normality, inspired by her own experiences as an outsider. She wants to bring people together regardless of gender, ethnicity, race, and sexual preference. Her Mind Medizin label is an extension of her sound – kinky techno with su bliminal rhythms that liberate your erotic innocence. Lady Tazz’s global reputation is cemented by her performances at cult venues such as E1 London, ://about blank in Berlin, and Video Club in Bogota. Her productions on Rekids’ offshoot RSPX showcase atmospheric soundscapes with raw textures, erotic moods, and mind-melting synths, all topped off with ethereal vocals that lodge deep in the soul. But Lady Tazz’s journey to success hasn’t been easy. As a woman in Bangladesh, she faced cultural expectations that made it challenging for her to learn the art of music production. When she eventually revealed her project to the world, she was bullied online and faced backlash at every turn. But with the support of her family, Lady Tazz pushed forward and created an all new underground scene in Bangladesh. To provide a safe space for her community, Lady Tazz hosts her own basement parties under the Techno Bunker banner, despite the risks involved. These illicit feeling events allow people to dance with friends and explore the dark and mysterious, the seductive and the shadowy. Through her music and label, Lady Tazz aims to create an ecosystem of self-expression where people are free to explore and channel an alluring sexual energy into all new forms of techno escapism.
