Ona | Monarch

Entre Trópicos presents: Uruguayan singer, songwriter and producer Ona blends the roots of her country’s popular music with synthesizers and electronic textures, creating a sound that moves between the modern and the dreamlike. Following a series of releases leading up to her debut album, she comes to Berlin for an intimate show at Monarch. Joining her are Berlin-based LATINDRAMA and nikita la del barrio. Ecuadorian artist LATINDRAMA mixes 90s sounds, electric guitar and theatrical performance to tell stories of nostalgia, vulnerability and migrant life. nikita la del barrio brings together poetry, projections and songs recorded across Abya Yala in a performance exploring ancestry, femininity and migration.
