Playing God X The Singers: Special Fyc Screening

Playing God and The Singers, two award-winning short films recently shortlisted for the Academy Awards, unite in this special screening. Experience these sound-driven stories in Signal's immersive acoustic space. Playing God is a stop-motion film seven years in the making, where fragile clay sculptures come to life in a bare workshop, craving more than just existence. The Singers is a genre-bending adaptation of Ivan Turgenev's 19th-century short story, in which a lowly pub full of downtrodden men connect unexpectedly through an impromptu sing-off, featuring a cast of first-time actors discovered on social media. Following the screenings there will be a Q&A moderated by Debra Solomon with Rodolfo L. Masedari (producer of Playing God) and David Breschel (producer of The Singers).
