De nombreux thèmes et luttes traversent cette pièce, mais celui des femmes - leur corps, leur représentation, leur liberté - est particulièrement central. L'évolution du cabaret a permis aux femmes de se réapproprier leur image, leur pouvoir et la place qui leur revient sur scène. Au cours de cette soirée de musique, de danse et de chanson française nous rencontrerons : Aristide Bruant, le symbole du Chat Noir, La Goulue, danseuse emblématique du Moulin Rouge, et Mistinguett, la star française des années folles ! La distribution : La pièce est narrée et écrite en anglais par la maîtresse de cérémonie, incarnée par Esther Hammecker, et prend vie grâce aux fabuleux interprètes Margot Melchior, Carmen Laroche et Lucien Guêné, accompagnés musicalement par le talentueux pianiste, incarné par Harold Dely. From the 19th century - at the opening of the first café-concert - to the glitter, feathers and drag shows of today, let us guide you the historical and fantastic fresque of cabaret. Many themes and struggles run through this piece, but that of women-their bodies, their representation, their freedom-is particularly central. The evolution of cabaret allowed women to reclaim their image, their power, and their rightful place on stage. During an evening of music, dancing and French songs we will meet: Aristide Bruant, the symbol of Le Chat Noir, La Goulue, the iconic dancer of the Moulin Rouge and Mistinguett the shining star of the roaring twenties! The cast: The play is narrated and written in English by the Mistress of Ceremonies, portrayed by Esther Hammecker, and comes to life through the fabulous performers Margot Melchior, Carmen Laroche, and Lucien Guêné, accompanied musically by the talented Pianist, portrayed by Harold Dely.
