✦ DJH ✦ Crafting an unmistakable sound at the intersection of prismatic electronic music, club culture, and forward-thinking rap and pop production, DJH has steadily mapped out a unique sonic terrain, weaving intricate synth textures and a sharp instinct for radiant, melancholic melodies with seismic bass and glistening distortion. His restless drive to elevate along genre axes has led to contributions on landmark releases like Playboi Carti’s MUSIC and FKA twigs’ EUSEXUA. Beyond his solo work, he closely collaborates with an international circle of kindred musicians — including Evilgiane, Suzy Sheer, Eera, Umru, and sv1 - and has contributed music to ad campaigns, video games and short films. ▬▬▬▬▬ ✦ Rat Section ✦ Rat Section is a London-based duo combining music, movement, voice, electronics, handmade instruments and visual art. Formed in Warsaw in 1989, the band was active until 2001 before disappearing for two decades. Their return in 2023 with What Stays In Vegas marks a dazzling renaissance of their cryptic, hard-hitting sound universe. On stage, Ratty Sleigh Johnny and Soopi deliver immersive and radical performances, somewhere between concert and installation. ▬▬▬▬▬ ✦ Soraya & Dmitra ✦ New York and London Sound Systems were key influences to the Berlin based artists Soraya & Dmitra. Their live set brings bass heavy club tracks paired with infectious vocal hooks. Expect to hear a mixture of four to the floor & breaks that will have people strutting, bouncing and quite possibly thrashing about. They have performed live for Berlin queer parties such as Buttons & Lecken, Danse Noire, at Berghain's Panorama Bar for PAN, in Paris for Slagwerk, Milan for Spiritual Sauna and for art establishments such as Mumok Vienna, Schinkel Pavillion, Neue Nationalgalerie. Dmitra & Soraya are also the founders of label & platform Kontinuum, an independent label focused on showcasing collaborations with up & coming underground vocalists and musicians. ▬▬▬▬▬ ✦ Pear.inc & Sam Evers ✦ ▬▬▬▬▬ ✦ Otis ✦ Otis is the founder of Slagwerk, a Brussels-based label notorious for their parties, bringing together the ever-surprising stretches of contemporary music – its history includes James Ferraro, Amnesia Scanner, Crystallmess, Oli XL, Varg2TM, Sky h1 and Vegyn. – and a delight in the many faces of club, never disconnected from the families it fosters. That partying is not something one should take lightly, understands Slagwerk like no other, showing that only in its experimental and dynamic embrace one can escape both nightlife’s over-intellectualizing and too- trivializing impulses. At Slagwerk, and so too in Otis’ continuous escapades as a DJ, the trivial is never just banal, the poppy never just popular, but the cutting-edge never turns pose either. In Otis’ sets, rigid conceptions of music are left aside, cul-de-sacs explored conditionally through humor, affect and instinct alike. Staying true to the thrill and shuffled spirit of online musical discovery, sound and songs connect and disconnect, flow and disrupt, genres are exploited and transgressed, melody seduced and swept. ▬▬▬▬▬
