Viken Arman is a French producer, DJ, and musician known for his unique fusion of jazz, house, minimal, hip hop, and world music, blending timeless and modern elements into his sound. His journey began at the age of five when he entered the Conservatory, later drawing inspiration from jazz legends like John Coltrane and Miles Davis. As a teenager, he began producing hip hop beats and eventually delved into electronic music, crafting an original sound that merges diverse influences. Arman honed his craft in Parisian clubs like the Rex Club and played a key role in shaping the global music scene through his collective, label, and festival, helping bring new talents to the forefront. Over the years, Viken Arman has established himself as an innovative artist on the international stage, performing at iconic festivals like Burning Man and Fusion. His impressive discography includes six EPs, with his latest release "Willow" topping the Beatport Electronica chart. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, from electronic icons like Acid Pauli to classical musicians such as the Lebanese Philharmonic Orchestra. Arman continues to evolve his sound through new techniques and cross-genre collaborations, recently releasing the 9-track LP "Alone Together."
