Ūndisclosed Presents Freshly launched local brooklyn label Selekt Sounds hosts its first of many events to come with UK mainstays TIJN & Haydn, alongside support from Shvili and label boss Rupert Wall. Selekt Sounds aims to showcase the more hypnotic, psychedelic, and jazzy sides of minimal. UK-born TIJN owns vinyl labels; Into The Wizards Sleeve, In Haus Wax, Deep Edition Recordings, Spooky Loops & self-titled, TIJN, plus various unnamed projects. He’s been making house records since 2007 as Martijn, but more recently has adopted the name TIJN after taking on a more direct analog approach in his purpose-built studio. An accomplished producer as well as dj, TIJN has played alongside renowned selectors such as Sonja Moonear, Nicolas Lutz, Steffi, Arapu, Priku and Dyed Soundorom, each time playing his own particular take on house, breaks & dub techno. TIJN is continually touring the UK & Europe, playing in numerous venues in Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam and Barcelona, along with regular spots in Manchester, Liverpool & Leeds, as well as holding a residency for Leftback Records based in Nottingham and a regular feature at the Gottwood & Wigflex festivals’ lineups. A vinyl Junkie With 25 years experience mastering his craft behind the controls, Haydn, from North Wales earnt his first residency at a club back in 2001, at Time nightclub Bangor. Since then, he has made his mark on the scene globally, exhibiting his deep and diverse sound through his intelligent and captivating sets and impressive label showcases in major UK cities such as Liverpool (mumu), Leeds (Louche) Birmingham (Social Underground/TRMNL) & more. a regular at institutions like Fabric and Gottwood festival, and internationally, Watergate Berlin, Poland, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Slovakia.
